In-office imaging

Our ultrasound machine uses sound waves to create real-time images of organs and tissues. It uses no radiation, so it is safe to repeat when needed.

What it is used for

Sonograms can help your provider look at areas such as the thyroid, abdomen, pelvic organs and soft tissues. Having ultrasound in our office means many scans can be done during your visit instead of at a separate imaging center.

What to expect

A gel is applied to the skin and a small handheld probe is moved over the area. Some exams need a little preparation, such as fasting or a full bladder, and we will tell you ahead of time.
