Sudoscan nerve function scanner

Sudoscan nerve function scanner

Sudoscan nerve function scanner

A quick, non-invasive scan of sweat-gland nerve function in the hands and feet. It helps detect early small-fiber neuropathy.

What it checks

Sudoscan measures how well the small nerves that control sweating are working in your hands and feet. These small fibers are often the first nerves affected by conditions such as diabetes, so changes can show up here before you notice numbness, tingling or burning.

How the test works

You place your hands and bare feet on flat metal plates while the device sends a very low current and measures the response of your sweat glands. There are no needles. Ask our team how to prepare and when to expect your results.

How results are used

Your provider reviews the scores together with your symptoms and health history. Sudoscan can help spot early small-fiber neuropathy, track changes over time and guide decisions about further testing or treatment. It supports a diagnosis rather than replacing a full medical evaluation.

Ask about testing

If you have diabetes, prediabetes or symptoms in your hands or feet, ask our team whether a Sudoscan makes sense for you.
